Now some of you may be looking at this forum and not actually know the rules. Well the original got deleted and since the "Guide for Newbies" resembles Mein Kampf more than anything else, here is a list of all the official rules as well as typical guidelines and suggestions on how to post for a new member.
GENERAL RULES:
1)Use common sense.
-----This alone will keep you out of trouble most of the time.
2)No Piracy.
-----No links to anything enabling you to obtain copyrighted material for free.
3)Do not link to viruses or malware.
-----This really needs no explaining.
4)No Double Posting.
-----This is where you make two posts directly after each other in the same thread. Its cleaner and easier just to make it all one post. (You have an edit button)
5)No post spamming.
-----If you constantly post low quality posts over an over again, you will be banned.
6)No alternative accounts
-----One of you is enough! If you fancy a name change just ask one of the "Super Admins" you might get lucky if they are actually online and in a good mood.
7)No porn.
-----Really an obvious rule don't post links or pics of a sexual nature.
DRAMA RULES:
1)No flaming.
-----Harassment and bullying will not be tolerated. If you don't like a person just pretend they never posted.
-----Reminder: We are not a closed community. Bashing on various members of Youtube and such will be counted as flame. These people can be members of this site aswell.
2)Resolve your own problems.
-----If you have a personal issue with someone, resolve it yourself. Do not involve other people here in it, and do not bring it onto the forums.
3)Arguments
-----An inevitable result of different sorts of people mixing. Please if you must argue take it to PMs or at least structure your arguments to more than "Fuck you fuck fuck fuck, beat you up in real fuck life fuck fuck fuck" Sometimes it's nice to read a structured debate between two people. See the above two rules.
LANGUAGE RULES:
1) Keep it sorta PG-13.
-----Cursing is fine, but cluster-fucks are not.
2)Write in English.
-----This site is an English speaking community please try to post in this language so that we may all enjoy your posts.
3)WRITE IN ENGLISH!
-----Please don't make posts in complete gibberish or use text/aol speak.
BUMPING:
For the sake of having definition, we will define a bump as any post in a thread that was made 2 weeks or more after the previous post.
Generally, bumping threads is a bad thing, but if you feel your topic needs to be brought back to our collective attention, at least explain why. Doing so will allow the bump to slide by without an issue, whereas a simple "bump" will probably get you banned, or any similarly unhelpful post.
VIRTUAL INSANITY
Sadly for all you crazy posters bumping a VI thread isn't allowed and will result in these threads being locked. Once a VI thread is dead it should remain as such.
While the rules are a bit more lax in VI, they are still in effect, so you should still follow them.
THESE RULES:
For heavens sake, these rules are not law, they are a guideline. It's fine to break some rules if it is in good humor.
Trying to use loopholes in the rules to get away with stuff will only make the ban happen faster.
These rules are subject to change at any time without notice.
MODS:
Listen to the mods! They are here to ensure everyone has a good time whilst visiting the site. If they ask you to stop something please listen. The staff of this website are here to make sure you enjoy your time on this site. They enforce the rules simple as. The Mods and Admins have the power to take your posting privileges away if you take it upon yourself to violate the rules and regulations of this community. They can issue warnings followed by suspensions of an increasing level.
However they aren't scary people, please feel free to contact them for help and assistance within the site.
